ABSTRACT
An interview with Matt Gurin, the U.S. Reward Practice Leader for Life Sciences, is presented. When asked about the impact of technologies such as the iPad on pharmaceutical sales, he stresses that such technologies have driven pharmaceutical companies to focus on new product development and branding strategies to increase sales. Gurin discusses the changes in the practice environment for physicians as a result of emerging technology. He also comments on U.S. healthcare reform.
