ABSTRACT
The article presents an interview with Asha Attoh-Okine, managing senior financial analyst of insurance-linked securities at A.M. Best Co. Inc. He says that the level of investor market interest in catastrophe bonds in the third quarter of 2011 is strong. Attoh-Okine further says that any increase in rates in the reinsurance and retrocession markets will spill over into the bond market. He also notes that the collective role and industry's view of peril modelers has not changed.
