An interview with Richard Wells, human resources (HR) director at Yodel, is presented. He shares that he attended Bradford Business School to do an HR qualification then became a personnel apprentice at Standard Telecoms and Cables. Wells claims that the most important task of HR is to help organizations change to be more successful. He says one highlight of his career was being part of the HR team that turned around the failing Gate Gourmet airline catering business.
