An interview with Theodore Koenig, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Monroe, is presented. Asked about his views on unitranche debt, he says that it will become more common in the middle market deals. Comparing with volumes of the middle market with the large capital market, he says that there are not much activity in either because of the high level of uncertainty. He explains that the middle market is more affected by micro factors than macro events.
