ABSTRACT
An interview with Jacques Attali, founder of PlaNet Finance Group, is presented. When asked on the main activities of the institution, he refers on technical assistance, the creation of microfinance firms, micro-insurance, and mobile banking. He believes that the challenges facing the institution include the goal of attaining a growth rate of 20-30 percent annually, enhance the quality of managers, and product innovation. Also, he offers advice to policymakers to hasten global development.
