ABSTRACT
An interview with George Adamakos, Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS) Business Development Manager at BAE Systems, is presented. He discusses the Navy low rate initial production (Lrip) 1 and Lrip 2 contracts and reacts to criticism that placing sensors on the canards rules out lock-on before launch. He also comments on the prospects that APKWS will be cleared for international sales.
