Ex-CEO Takes Lead With Small CUs

An interview with William Myers, director of the National Credit Union Administration's (NCUAs) Office of Small CU Initiatives and former chief executive officer (CEO) of Alternatives Federal CU (FCU) is presented. When asked on the main role of his office, he says that their function is to help small CUs solve problems. Myers believes that advance planning is necessary for Cus to be successful. He suggests sharing back-office staff as one of the ways for CUs to survive the business.
