ABSTRACT
An interview with J. Scott Spiker, chief executive officer (CEO) of First Command Financial Services Inc., is presented. When asked about the concerns he consider relevant in legally complying a fiduciary duty, he discusses the new standards in the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act and the nature and extent of new disclosure requirements. He talks about their business models in serving the U.S. middle class market. He also notes their learnings from their financial index.
