An interview with Stan Baron, the chief executive officer (CEO) of Chetco Federal Credit Union (FCU), is presented. When asked about his involvement with CUs, he cites that his college professor is responsible for his employment in CUs. Baron shares that the building of capital, and the coordination of loan demand with deposit growth are some of the challenges faced in the management of CUs. His support for financial literacy program provides youngsters with basics of financial understanding.
