ABSTRACT
An interview with Rick Schmidt, chief executive officer (CEO) of Las Vegas, Nevada-based WestStar Credit Union (CU), is presented. When asked about what loan categories did WestStar increased, he cites auto loans and credit cards. Schmidt adds that WestStar has revamped its lending process to its consumers. He also discussed WestStar's "Royal Advantage" a customer-relationship program aimed at rewarding its loyal members with better loan pricing.
