ABSTRACT
An interview with MasterCard Inc.'s chief of emerging payments Ed McGlaughlin is presented. McGlaughlin enumerates the mobile initiatives of MasterCard including the Single mobile payment in Asia and the launch of contactless credit card and virtual card. He says that the core of MasterCard network helps them manage payment initiatives in a wide area. He adds that they will continue looking for opportunities of working with leading organizations who also aim to make mobile payments a reality.
