An interview with Derek Chang, the executive vice president of content strategy and development at DirecTV Inc., is presented. When asked about the importance of three dimensional (3D) in DirecTV, he relates that 3D is a new technology that DirecTV must acquire as the leader in technology. He mentions that DirecTV has the system, capacity, and a way to get signals to its customers to offer 3D. He adds that DirecTV offers the best 3D television of sports and movies.
