ABSTRACT
An interview with Robert D. Arnott, founder of Research Affiliates LLC basing in Newport Beach, California, is presented. Arnott mentioned that Jack Bogle of Vanguard became his inspiration in starting Research Affiliates LLC. He said that cap-weighted indexes are significant in measuring the performance of the market and can be used as a tool for investment strategies. He stated that having high savings rate and considerable investment in the future may improve the economic situation.
