An interview with the chair of the International Authentication Association (IAA) Jim Rittenburg is presented. When asked about issues faced by brand managers, Rittenburg states that they deal with various threats, including counterfeiters and piracy, marketing goods, and infringements of properties. He also mentions that authentication technology helps in identifying genuine products from fake ones and encourages product as well as brand owners to apply different security devices on their products.
