ABSTRACT
An interview with Volker Beckers, chief executive officer (CEO) of RWE Npower, is presented. According to Beckers, he considers the carbon floor price as tax. He mentioned that higher taxation does not attract more investments. He also noted that the energy industry and investors remain uncertain until a policy is given by the coalition government.
