An interview with Robert Harteveldt, chairman of fixed income at finance firm Jefferies, is presented. When asked about his assessment of the present state of high yield bond and leveraged loan origination, Harteveldt says that the high yield bond market is in relatively good shape. Harteveldt believes that the market is following the pattern of a traditional high yield market with a lot more acquisition financing compared to 2009.
