An interview with Raquel Palmer, a partner of KPS Capital Partner, is presented. She explains the acquisition of Independent Brewers United (IBU) by the North American Breweries platform of KPS Capital Partners. She describes the development of the platform following the acquisition. Palmer stresses the need for small independent firms to fetch more than four or five times earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) in the market in 2010.
