ABSTRACT
An interview with Henrik Fisker, chief executive officer (CEO) of Fisker Automotive, is presented. When asked whether it is a good time to start a car company given the fall of General Motors and Chrysler, he says it is the perfect time to start an environmentally-minded automaker. He notes that he came from Denmark, but Fisker Automotive started in California. He talks about the risks in starting a car company, citing the need for investment to develop the vehicles.
