An interview with Dan Laur, president of Laur Silicone Inc. is presented. Laur states that a lot of industries are affected by the recent recession including the silicone industry. When asked about his competitive position during recession, he stated that he treated recession like a financial adjustment. Laur believes that a business manager should be responsible for managing the needed changes in the business.
