ABSTRACT
An interview with security and safety executive director Pat Dorsey of the Health Care Service Corp. is presented. When asked about how he got into the security industry, he cites his 30 years as an investigator with the U.S. Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Dorsey says that his department works closely with the company's information technology department on systems access and security matters. He says that his department is even prepared for a potential H1N1 outbreak.
