ABSTRACT
An interview with jazz pianist McCoy Tyner about his "Guitars" album is presented. When asked on who gave the idea on playing duets with many talented guitarists, he cites that he had worked with guitarists like Carlos Santana and John Coltrane before, and thought it was time to do guitar again. He states that he did not adjust his style when playing with guitarists as he found the connection between them. He notes that to keep the songs fresh, he always realize that everyday is different.
