ABSTRACT
An interview with David Orr, special assistant to the president of Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio, is presented. When asked about the conferences he conducted in 1989 concerning the impact of climate change on the banking industry, he states his intention to educate such industry about science. He talks about the incorporation of art in the economic development and academic project of Oberlin College. He also explains how his focus has changed.
