An interview with Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance (SIAA) chairman James Masiello is presented. Masiello notes their business model was established since 1983 focusing on quality to build a long-term relationship with partners. He states that SIAA has 433 new member agencies in which the 269 are former direct writer/captive agents. Furthermore, Masiello mentions that the agency enters into a first national joint venture with premium finance firm and develops a proprietary specialty markets.
