ABSTRACT
An interview with front-of-house engineer Randy Lane is presented. According to him, he got involved on the American Idol tour through a call from the supplier of the tour's audio, the Clair Global. He mentions that the tour is carrying 28 i5s and 20 i5B supplemental bass cabinets with six BT-218 subs. Moreover, he notes that Julio Iglesias and James Taylor keeps him busy through out the year.
