An interview with John Bogle, founder of the Vanguard Mutual Fund Group in 1974 and is currently named Vanguard Group Inc., is presented. He believes that the mutual fund industry is all about salesmanship. He suggests that financial planners should be doing education in order to explain the realities of marketplace, funds, and life. Meanwhile, Bogle was named as one of the world's most powerful and influential people by "Time" magazine in 2004. INSET: Elegance in Investing.
