An interview with Liz Ogden, human resources (HR) director for Great Britain and Ireland at security group G4S, is presented. According to Ogden, she did a management training programme at Fine Fare after finishing her studies. Ogden asserts that handling profit-and-loss responsibilities, as well as operations, customer services and business development positions, helped her with her HR work. She says she has observed that HR has become more about empowering others to do HR processes well.
