An interview with Jolene K. Adams and Robert B. Martin, candidates for vice president of the American Rose Society (ARS) is presented. Adams believes that in order for the ARS to engage the boomer and successive generations, it needs to embrace the local societies and rely on them to feed national membership. Martin discusses the ways ARS can reach a new generation of rose growers. He also cites some technological innovations that ARS can use in communicating with its members and younger generations.
