ABSTRACT
An interview with New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) chief executive Stanley Young is presented. When asked about the challenges in building out such a large network in Europe, he explains that it is important to have all the resources before starting the project. Young believes that even with the financial crisis, NYSE Technology customers continue to demand faster technology resulting in large firms changing their infrastructure. He also comments on the ten gigabit Ethernet project with Cisco.
