An interview with Brenda Anderson, chief executive officer (CEO) of Site, formerly the Society of Incentive and Travel Executives, is presented. Anderson refers to legislation/lobbying, public relations and grassroots as the areas of focus of Site. She encourages industry associations to join the Keep America Campaign and discusses the impact of the U.S. government's stimulus plan on the industry as well the economic impact of meetings and incentives. She stresses the need to focus on the return on investments that meetings and events create.
