An interview with Jacqueline Novogratz, founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of the Acumen Fund, is presented. When asked about the fund's market-oriented approach to social entrepreneurship, she responds that he had a realization that innovation cannot be scaled without greater access to capital. She points out that the market-driven approach does not mean that capitalism will change the world. She claims that they will find an entrepreneur who has a distribution system and an understanding of the market where he or she is operating.
