ABSTRACT
An interview with Kate Scally, manager for marketing communications of Waitrose chain of supermarkets and department stores, is presented. When asked about her priorities for 2009, Scally says that she is launching an integrated approach in reaching out to their customers by testing and learning new ways of communications. She chooses marketing agencies that understand their business in launching marketing campaigns for their product brands. To Scally, the Internet is her most important medium.
