ABSTRACT
An interview with Missy Smith of "Publishing Executive" is presented. When asked how she got involved in leadership, she recalled being recognized as Editor of the Year in higher education and starting "Leadership Excellence." She elaborates on the importance of good leadership, citing the impact that bad leaders create. She opines that being consistent and reliable, among other characteristics, make up a good leader.
