An interview with Steve Sanghi, chief executive officer (CEO) of Microchip Technology Inc. in the U.S., is presented. Sanghi reveals that Microchip is the only company that offers a complete, comprehensive, upgradable and compatible microcontroller solution. He states that the company's goal is to take any application that has power applied to microcontrollers. He adds by stating that the company just crossed $1 billion in sales.
