ABSTRACT
An interview with Brian Rosen, chief executive of Australia's Film Finance Corporation (FFC), is presented. When asked about the large production investment by the FFC in 2007-2008, Rosen relates that a large volume was put in place while the industry is uncertain of the events in July 2008. He says that Fred Schepisi's film "The Last Man" was funded through the marketplace door not through the Evaluation Door because the big project did not meet some requirements. He adds that networks are extra careful in committing to new television series.
