ABSTRACT
An interview with Shelly Zegart, founding director of Kentucky Quilt Project Inc., is presented. Zegart admits that she is optimistic about the way the contemporary art quilt movement is developing. She appreciates the works of Linda Levin, Merrill Mason, Ann Adams, Risë Nagin, and Joan Schulze. She plans to work hard for the next year at the projects emanated from the Louisville project.
