ABSTRACT
An interview with artist Susan Sutherland of San Francisco, California is presented. Sutherland cites that she has a degree in home economics with specialization in interior design. She mentions that she attended a workshop conducted by Marta del Farra to improve her skill in silk painting and to get started in a business. She believes that having a sense of passion in doing her work makes her stay longer in the business.
