ABSTRACT
An interview with Jack Lenor Larsen, an internationally known textile designer, author and collector, is presented. When asked about the important turning points he considered in his work, he implied that owning a mill and design studio and working with the industry have encouraged him to use the flexibility that he had as an entrepreneur and do things differently. He adds that they work in 60 countries in which many of them are in the third world with handicraft traditions and skills.
