ABSTRACT
An interview with Jimmy Wales, co-founder of online encyclopedia Wikipedia, is presented. He explains how Wikipedia makes money when it offers free access to human knowledge. He offers his views on copycat Wikipedia Web sites and on open-source movement. He discusses how he ensures information from Wikipedia is accurate, amidst criticisms that the site is an irresponsible research tool.
