ABSTRACT
An interview with John Tabacco, founder of Lendex is presented. When asked how will Lendex improve things for lenders and borrowers, he says that the company will add a level of transparency that has never been seen in securities lending and lenders will get real-time dynamic securities lending debate data. He stresses that in securities lending, free markets have had an antiquated system of services and commission-based allocation models. He also answers issues regarding the ineffectiveness of the LocateStock system and the company's plans for 2008.
