ABSTRACT
An interview with sound engineer Dustyn Peiffer, who is mixing in a wide range of the theaters for Mel Brooks' musical tour of The Producers, is presented. Peiffer describes his microphone technique by using a DPA 4061 on an ear rig that comes straight out to about the peak of the cheek bone for men and using a DPA 4061 on an elastic headband for women. He also mentions the sound equipment he used during the musical tour.
