ABSTRACT
This article presents an interview with financial planner Sheryl Garrett, the founder and president of Garrett Planning Network. Garrett discusses her focus on hourly financial planning for the mass market, middle-income population in the United States, her un-satisfaction with the state of financial planning, and how she views and defines the middle-market economy. Garrett also discusses how the steps she takes in financial planning follows the six-step financial planning process of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.
