An interview with James He, chief operating officer at OmniVision Technologies is presented. He mentions Charge Coupled Display (CCD) and Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) as commonly used image sensors in security applications. He expects CMOS image sensors to be firmly established in the commercial and domestic security markets. He mentions areas which he considered most important in the future, including intelligence, integration and innovation.
