An interview with Charles Man-Chun Chu, president of the International Fire Engineers, is presented. When asked about the time of his involvement with the international fire community, he refers to his presence in England training course where he had first-hand engagement with officers from abroad. He mentioned that he was engaged in working with fire engineers as well as from civil, structural, and community services. He added that he had the opportunity to study fire engineering.
