The article presents an interview with Mark Armitage, president of the U.S. division of Carbon Neutral Co., which helps Fortune 500 companies to measure and take action on their carbon footprints for 10 years. He discusses ways of reducing the carbon footprints of a retailer, such as reducing energy usage and converting to green power sources. Armitage explains the carbon offsetting process. He also cites the benefits of a carbon-neutral strategy for a retailer.
