An interview with Michael Rasmussen, vice president and analyst in Forrester Research in the U.S. is presented. When asked about the difference between compliance and internal control, he states that compliance involves regulations while control is in place to give business intelligence and insights and not because of regulations. He states that his "eight habit" version is about how to be a good corporate citizen by doing the right thing not because it is legal, but because it is ethical.
