ABSTRACT
An interview with Dan Young, CMP, LLIF director of event planning and field recognition at Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and vice president of FICP is presented. When asked about how he started in the industry, he says that he started as a sales trainer and became manager of the field training department. He has been an active member of FICP since 1995 and he believes that his being a member of the organization has helped him have a certain degree of professional credibility and added more value to his company.
