ABSTRACT
An interview with Union Pacific's Director of Health and Safety Marcy Zauha is presented. When asked about the challenges to the company's health improvement programs and how they are dealing with them, she said that behavioral and cultural changes are helpful. Regarding health care costs, she noted that the company is trying to provide the best benefits at the greatest value. She added that she is encouraged by the status of the recent health care proposals in the local areas.
