ABSTRACT
An interview with spa director Kellie Carriker of Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort & Spa in Florida is presented. When asked how can meeting planners ensure that their appointments for spa go smoothly, she suggests to arrange appointments in advance to protect availability. She notes the spa break options in their resort, namely the Slim and Trim Spa Break and the Jump Start Spa Break. She cites that the resort has placed a massage therapist at a par-three hole during a golf tournament.
