ABSTRACT
The article presents an interview with Czech composer Ondřej Adámek. When asked how he came to study in Paris, France after spending time at the Prague Academy, he responds that immediately after he got into the Academy, he has started to look for opportunities to study abroad and was able to participate in an Erasmus student exchange program. He says that he gradually managed to add the things he learned in France ino his music. He claims that he uses the metaphor of machines.
