The article presents an interview with Ostrava Days 2007 founder and artistic director Petr Kotik. When asked how the Ostrava Days institute and festival differ from other summer courses, he replies that it is one of the longest summer programs and it focuses on orchestra. He says that the program aims to create an informal working community in an environment with a sufficient duration. He claims that he tries to organize Ostrava Days, given their limited resources.
